The court has a range of powers available to it, if you are suffering from domestic violence, ranging from:-

Non-Molestation Order

This can be made on an emergency basis and it prevents your spouse or partner from molesting, harassing or pestering you.

Occupation Order

This deals with who lives in the family home. The court can define terms of occupation in a property and also order that one party be excluded from the home if necessary.

Civil Injunction

This prevents courses of action which are tantamount to harassment.

Orders can include Powers of Arrest where necessary for further protection.
